❥ 6. Homage
What is Homage?
It is an imitation of a respectful standpoint. From the Dictionary,
(1) respect or reverence paid or rendered.
(2) it is something done or given in acknowledgment or consideration of the worth of another.
Base on my own understanding, it is an imitation that are very clearly shows/ or knows that it is copied from another. For an example, have the same title with the original one.
In this posts, I will be exploring the homage of music/songs. All of them are having the similar/same names as the original ones. They paying their respects to the original ones by doing a cover of the song, without changing the original lyrics and tone (some of them did change it a little, like Jazz version of it.)
